Role Overview
As an Account Executive at Ekco, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and managing a portfolio of existing clients. Your primary focus will be to maintain customer relationships, retain and grow revenue by promoting the portfolio of services Ekco can offer.
Managing a client base of around 80 clients, you will ensure that customer issues are proactively addressed and that Ekco remains their trusted technology partner.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
- Support Marketing Prospecting activities into the client base and new market opportunities.
- Regularly engage with clients to assess their needs, concerns, and satisfaction levels.
- Manage customer expectations around service delivery timelines and capabilities.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of customer concerns within internal teams.
Revenue Protection & Growth
- Maintain and protect existing revenue.
- Timely renewals of clients existing contracts.
- Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Understand how to position the full Ekco Services portfolio.
- Accurate Forecast Management and Reporting on account performance, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Account Growth: Drive additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
- Account Prospecting and New Business acquisition
- Customer Satisfaction: Improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) and overall engagement.
- Weekly CRM hygiene and business reporting
- Regular office attendance, 2/3 days a week per week as an expectation.
- Achievement of quarterly targets and KPIโs set by the business.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience of selling into SMB or mid-market segment.
- Technical awareness of Cyber Services and IT services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify new revenue opportunities within accounts.
