The Role
- Provide support of Managed Service environments
- Log and track incidents on the ticketing system (in accordance with ITIL processes) and liaise with third parties when required
- Create and update our knowledge management system and standard operating procedure documents/runbooks
- Liaise with other technical teams within organization to resolve incidents
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Desktop operating systems from a support and install perspective
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange servers
- Dell/HP Hardware/Storage knowledge
Bonus Points
- Experience with Dell Fluid FS NAS storage
- Assist with the Design, implementation and deployment of client solutions with a focus on Microsoft technologies
- Active Directory support, design and implementation - including DHCP, DNS
- Comfortable with various backup software applications such as CommVault, Backup Exec,Veritas NetBackup
- Virtualisation – focus on Hyper-V with VMware experience
About You
- A minimum of 1 year experience in support
- Excellent troubleshooting skills are essential
- Good Communications skills written and oral
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good team skills
- Client liaison skills - this position will involve working on site with the client
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
