The role 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Treasury to manage our daily banking and treasury activities. This role is crucial in ensuring all treasury controls are in place, owning the rolling 12/13 week cashflow process, and being responsible for the cash and interest budget. The successful candidate will implement and manage the Treasury Management System, recommend actions to improve working capital and cashflow, and ultimately reduce interest payments. Additionally, this role involves managing, tracking, and improving our banking and debt facilities, producing monthly and quarterly reports for Financial Operations and the Board, and supporting the Group in its integration and M&A activities where required.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage daily banking and treasury activities.
• Build and ensure all treasury controls are in place.
• Own the rolling 12/13 week cashflow process and long-range planning.
• Responsible for cash and interest budget.
• Implement and manage the Treasury Management System.
• Recommend actions to improve working capital and cashflow, thereby reducing interest payments.
• Manage, track, and improve our banking and debt facilities.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports for Financial Operations and the Board.
• Support the Group in its integration and M&A activities where required.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the treasury function aligned with organizational goals.

Key Requirements 

• Qualified accountant or relevant treasury qualification.
• Experience or understanding of building a dedicated treasury role within a business and upgrading the business mindset towards managing and forecasting cash.
• Experience working with investors, preferably private equity investors.
• Experience working with a highly acquisitive company at a fast pace, understanding the process of business integration and its impact on treasury (e.g., bank accounts, debt facilities, and systems).
• 5-8+ years of experience in a customer-facing client engagement or relationship management role.
• Strong knowledge in both professional and managed services.
• Exceptional attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent time management, decision-making, and organization skills.
• Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong financial acumen and a proven track record of continual enhancements to the design and results of service levels metrics.
• Able to balance providing exceptional service with the need to improve financial performance, and increase revenue and profits.
