The role
As Head of Cloud Projects, you will hold a key role within the Project Delivery function within a fast paced, exciting, and growing company (45% year-on-year for the past 3 years). You will manage a team of highly capable Technical Cloud Project Engineers whilst also providing technical expertise and direction. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cloud projects Team and will be responsible for designing, implementing cloud service solutions. You will need to engage with clients and ensure projects are delivered in a precise and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage the Cloud Projects Team.
- Oversee the planning, delivery and execution of Cloud Projects.
- Handle escalated technical problems and provide advanced troubleshooting.
- Work closely with the Project Management Team and PMO function to deliver projects.
- Provide technical direction and technical support for the Cloud Projects Team.
- Develop the teams technical skills and expertise by facilitating ongoing training and development.
- Lead, Plan and design SharePoint solutions tailored to our clients’ requirements, using our in-house design methodology.
- Lead, Implement and Deploy Cloud Projects to our clients.
- Build out key processes and KBAs.
- Ensure that all technical project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
- Quality Control and Review Cloud Projects, providing feedback and improvements.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years relevant technical experience and delivering technical cloud projects.
- Minimum of 1 year team lead or management experience.
- Experience delivering a range of IT cloud projects such as Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Azure and Google Cloud.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, technical expertise and team leadership skills.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with and delivery of O365, SharePoint, Intune, Cloud Projects.
- Experience working with SharePoint configuration, design, migration, and deployment.
- Experience with O365 Administrations, including the use of PowerShell and Scripting.
- Experience with Migration tools such as ShareGate and Microsoft Migration Tool.
- Have some experience where possible with DevOps and Automation.
- Qualification and Certifications in Microsoft, Windows, O365, Azure.
- Be highly collaborative with the wider delivery team, management structure and business leaders.
